Location was excellent. Staff in bar and restaurant were excellent. Front of house could have been friendlier. No irons in rooms or for hire, you must use in house service. Restaurant was excellent, great menu and staff which made up for any other faults. Would ensure I was staying in new re furnished rooms next time as old part of hotel was not near as nice and very small room for a tripple room.

Train to Monaco is great service. The bars cafés and little shops accross from hotel were lovely in general. Master home bar I would recommend.

Rooms very variable, we had to change due to bad smell in bathroom. We were then given a much larger and better appointed room. Buffet breakfast good. Close to Vieux Nice and shopping area. Close to airport bus route (stop just across road, 4 euro each way) So don't waste money on an expensive taxi.
Top Tip
Bus to Monaco costs only 1 euro each way from nearby bus station!

I think the hotel is in the process of re-furbishment, so some of the rooms although adequate would benefit from a re-decoration.

The hotel is idealy located for both shopping at the top designers and yet very close to the Old Town, with travelling facilities close at hand for visits to Monte Carlo, Antibes etc. The hotel has a bar on the 7th floor where it is possible to sit in the evenings, enjoy a drink while enjoying the view of the city. The drinks in the bar are extremely expensive!
Top Tip
A vist to the Old Town is a must - head for the flower market which is surrounded by a wonderful selection of resteurants. Two places of note are La Safari where the rabbit is always delicious. For a more intimate evening, visit La Boucon

Double room consisted of two single beds pushed together which kept coming apart! No iron which I would expect from a 4* hotel so had to pay for ironing! Pool bar was closed and no staff around to serve drinks. Great location but not what I would consider to be a 4* hotel.

There was a wedding on 2 of our nights, consequently the hotel closed the pool area from 5pm onwards to hotel guests. Just what you needed after a day out to find that you couldn't have a swim!! I think the hotel need to decide whether they are catering for weddings or residents. That would definitely put me off going back. Besides this gripe the hotel was OK, if not spectacular. Also given the position whilst it was close to the old town being on the main road meant it was noisy & at times difficult to sleep at night.
Top Tip
The old town definitely worth a trip, nice restaurants although some a little pricey. Our favourite was Le Tire Bouchon. Monte-Carlo/Monaco well worth a visit. Would have like to go to Cannes, maybe next time?
